Welcome

God has done so much for me through drawing and I want to share that with you. If you ask me to draw for you, I will treat your portrait with the most love, respect and care. And I know that it will be blessed by God. Thank you for visiting my page, listening to my story and looking at what God has done in my life. I hope to connect with you soon!

I am honored to have you here. My art is inspired by your loving, four legged family members and the love you share with them.

I believe with my entire heart that God has given me this dream, this desire, this gift to draw your four legged loved ones. In 2022 I felt an overwhelming desire and push to do art, to draw again. I would tell my husband (not married at this time) that I needed to draw and to help encourage me because I was still frightened. Throughout the entire year, I didn't do anything. Until one day. The tug at my heart was so strong, I asked for art supply money for Christmas. I told my husband that I was going to start drawing and I meant it.

It started with paint supplies, which I hadn't used before. I started painting landscapes and flowers. And people were wanting to purchase my art. I was so surprised because I had no intension of making money in that way. Before I knew it, I started drawing animals again. But this time I had the right tools. And I had a very strong determination and drive to do so.

As each month passed in 2023 and each portrait came to me, I was even more in awe at what God was doing in my life. The fulfillment it gave me to draw for others and give them something so personal, so special that would be cherished for a lifetime, was priceless. God gave me a gift that didn't only give to others, but gave to me tremendously in my soul.

I began to do research on specific art supplies for drawing with pastels, and how I could make what I was doing better for me and better for my clients. I discovered some of the best pastel brands, tools and paper and my art began to change drastically with each one. It was incredibly exciting to see God's hands in my work. Without Him, these things wouldn't be happening in my life. I began to crave drawing and people continued wanting what I had to offer.

I pray [sometimes I might forget] before I draw each piece. I take each portrait carefully with me when I choose a matte and frame because I want it to be perfect for the portrait and for your home. I want God to work through me, not relying on my own skills. It is an honor each and every time someone asks me to draw for them, for a friend or family member, or even a client of theirs. I have even been blessed to be asked by other fellow artists, to draw for them. Talk about humbling.

In the recent months God has called me to leave my full time job of many years, one that I loved and adored in order to pursue this calling of being an artist. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and it's still hard to believe sometimes. I have the most incredibly supportive family, but most importantly, husband. He's been my biggest encourager, support and love throughout all of this.
